Imagine a person in-front of a blank screen, waving their hands as though they were a crazed conductor trying to command an orchestra.
Now picture that same scene but with a subtle glow shading the person's face. Lights dancing at their fingertips. Holographic icons showing the intricate workings of an alien craft... and all of a sudden that conductor has transported you to another world.
